Press SCAN button to turn on the device.
Select MODE (the smiling face icon is for measuring body temperature, and the little house icon is for measuring object surface temperature).
Put the thermometer gun towards forehead/object you want to measure in a distance of 1-5 cm (0.3-2 inches) and press SCAN again, and you will get the result immediately.
You can use the °C/°F button to select between Celsius and Fahrenheit degrees.
MEMO function can save up to 32 sets of memory data.
To turn on/off the buzzer, press the MEMO button for 3 seconds.
